10's - John Parker (John.Parker@airclic.com)

All  10 year old players wishing to participate in summer tournament play MUST try out for the team. This includes all current travel baseball players. All other players born on or after May 1, 1997 are invited to try out for the team. Try outs for the summer tournament team will be held on Monday June 16th at 6:00 on the American league field at Sol Feinstone.

Summer tournament play requires a significant commitment from both the players and families of those who make the team. Players making the team will be required to participate in practices and tournament games. We have tentatively accepted invitations to play in three different tournaments. The first is the Cal Ripken tournament to be held in Warrington, PA on June 28-30. The next is the Pennsbury annual summer tournament to be held on July 12-27th and the last is the Pony league tournament held in Chambersburg, PA on July 18-20. The Pony tournament will require each team member to spend a weekend in Chambersburg, PA. In addition to the above mentioned tournament dates, we will likely practice as a team 3-4 days/week leading up to the tournaments. Please keep this in mind as you decide whether or not to have your child try out for the team. The ability to practice during the week is a requirement for all participants.

Lastly, the league will pay for one tournament entry fee. We estimate that the fees for the summer team play will be in the range of $150/player and will include tournament registration and uniform fees. This fee does not include any additional travel expenses that may be incurred as the result of travel to and from tournaments.  Any questions, please contact John Parker at John.Parker@airclic.com
